Power: Power prices declined yesterday, tracking movements within NBP contracts. Bearish benchmark carbon contracts pressured the season ahead contract. This morning, early trading is down slightly on last night’s close. Carbon (EU ETS): The ICE Dec-25 closed at €72.75/t last night. The contract opened at €72.73/t this morning and is trading at €72.94/t at time of writing. Carbon (UKAs): The ICE Dec-25 closed at £52.18/t yesterday. The contract opened at £52.08/t this morning and is currently trading at £52.32/t. |
