Power: Power prices moved yesterday, tracking their NBP counterparts. Movement in carbon markets looks as though it will weigh upon the far curve. Oil: Oil losses continued yesterday, with the market processing data released over the weekend which showed a decline in crude imports compared to the previous year. Political change in the US over the weekend caused further uncertainty. Carbon (EU ETS): The ICE Dec-24 closed at a 3-month low of €64.72/t yesterday. This morning, the contract is currently trading at €64.97/t. Carbon (UKAs): The ICE Dec-24 fell to £39.95/t yesterday. This morning, the contract is trading at £40.09/t. |
