| Gas: NBP prices continued to fall yesterday, with risk premiums related to the conflict in the Middle East slowly dropping out of prices. In the prompt/near curve, prices fell despite outages at the Norwegian Troll field at a key time for European storage filling. This morning, the market has opened at similar levels to last night’s close. Power: Most power contracts also fell yesterday. Prompt and near-curve contracts tracked underlying gas market movements, despite a downward revision to wind forecasts for next week. Further out on the curve, rising carbon prices pushed some contracts higher. Early trading today is close to last night’s settlement. Oil: Prices fell yesterday from recent highs. Prices remained strong, however, staying well above the $100/bbl mark. Carbon (EUAs): The ICE Dec-26 closed at €86.03/t last night. The contract opened this morning at €85.90/t. Carbon (UKAs): The ICE Dec-26 traded to £59.76/t yesterday. Opening at the £59.02/t this morning. |
